CNC sheet metal bending

It is the process that turns a flat part into a three-dimensional one. The CNC press brake controls the position, depth and sequence of each bend from the program, using industrial tooling.

Repeatability. The parameters of every bend are fixed in the program, so part number one hundred comes out the same as the first and the run is consistent.

Because the decisive part of bending happens before the machine. Each bend takes up an amount of sheet that depends on the material and the radius; if the flat part is not cut to the right size, the bent part will not reach the dimensions on the drawing, however precise the press brake is.

That is why our engineering office calculates the flat pattern and bend sequence before cutting.

No. If you send us the finished part in 3D or the drawing with final dimensions, our engineering office calculates the flat pattern. If you already have the flat pattern, we can use that too.

The more complete, the better:

• Final dimensions of the bent part
• Material and thickness
• Bend angles and radii
• Quantity and whether the order will repeat

If anything is missing, we ask you before manufacturing rather than guessing.

Yes. Bending follows on naturally from sheet metal laser cutting and we do both in the same plant so the two stages are coordinated: the calculated flat pattern is cut and bent without changing supplier.

Sheet metal laser cutting

The materials and thicknesses in the laser cutting table: steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper, each with its own thickness range. If the part has an unusual length or thickness, ask us about feasibility with the drawing.

Yes. We work on prototypes, single parts and production runs. A bent prototype is a good way to validate dimensions and fit before committing to a run.

Yes, a bending service on customer-supplied material can be considered. Mention it in your request so we can allow for it in the quote.

Yes. Many bent parts are part of a welded assembly, and welding is done in the same plant.

Industrial welding

Yes. In thin sheet the usual solution is self-clinching fasteners, which anchor into the sheet without welding. The hole is prepared during cutting, so it is worth showing it on the drawing.

No. With DXF, DWG or STEP we work directly on the geometry in your file: the part does not need redrawing and the quote comes back sooner. We work mainly with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, among other CAD and CAM tools.

Yes. Drawings are used only to prepare the technical assessment and are not shared with third parties. If you need a signed confidentiality agreement, you can send it to us.

It depends on the part, the quantity and the other processes involved. In the quote request you can choose a 24/48 h urgent service (with a surcharge), about one week, a flexible deadline or a specific date, and we confirm it with the quote.

For many routine orders, no. We keep sheet and tube in permanent stock, so manufacturing can start without waiting for material.

Yes, with our own fleet. We prepare the load and deliver the parts palletised and protected to the agreed point. We usually serve the provinces of Tarragona and Barcelona, and look at other destinations case by case.

Bent sheet housings, brackets, enclosures and profiles are used in practically all of these sectors. If your sector is not listed, tell us about the part and we will confirm whether we can make it.

We accept PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP/STP, STL, IGS/IGES and also PNG or JPG images. If you do not have a final drawing yet, send us a dimensioned sketch and we will review it all the same.

We handle one-off parts and prototypes as well as small, medium and large batches and repeat production. You can specify this in the quote request.

We send the technical response as soon as possible once we have the drawing and the part details.

You can include them in the order. These finishes are carried out with specialist workshops we work with regularly, but we handle the coordination and the transport: you place a single order and receive the finished part.

Yes — that is the normal way we work. A part can go through laser cutting, bending, welding and finishing inside the same plant, under a single order and a single point of contact.
