Catà Germans is a Catalan family company with over 65 years of history. We combine industrial knowledge passed down generation to generation with advanced manufacturing technology to deliver high-value metal solutions.
History
Jaume Catà and Teresa Bodada.
In 1958, Jaume Catà Mitjans starts his business activity tied to livestock, poultry and locksmithing. With Teresa Bodada by his side, he lays the foundations of a family project that endures to this day.
From locksmithing to industry.
In 1965 the first industrial plant is built in Llorenç del Penedès, and in 1976 the activity moves to Priorat de Banyeres. In 1993 Catà Germans S.L. is officially incorporated.
The generational handover.
With the founder's retirement in 2012, the second generation takes over the management of the company, consolidating its commitment to technology and process professionalization.
Expansion and modernization.
In the 1980s CNC machinery is introduced, starting the company's technological transformation. In 2000, laser cutting technology is added, expanding manufacturing capabilities.
A company in motion.
Today Catà Germans welcomes the third generation and continues to focus on innovation, automation and process-optimization projects, keeping the close dealing that has defined it since 1958.

We keep sheet and tube permanently in stock so production starts without delay. Material is controlled from goods-in to dispatch.
