What the service involves

Welding is the process that turns a set of loose parts into a single component. It is also where the final geometry of the assembly is decided: a badly located joint or a poorly planned welding sequence will distort the assembly even if every individual part was correct.

That is why we control the assembly stage: locating the parts, sequencing the joints and checking before final welding. Parts arrive at welding already cut and formed in the same plant, often with locating features prepared at laser cutting.

We have several processes available — MIG, MAG, TIG and spot welding — so we can match the material, the thickness and how demanding the finish needs to be.

Frequently asked questions

Which welding process do you use?

It depends on the material, thickness and required finish. We work with MIG, MAG, TIG and spot welding and choose what suits each part; TIG is typical when the joint will be visible or the material is stainless.

Do you hold qualified welding procedures?

If your project requires a qualified procedure or welder, say so in your enquiry and we will confirm it explicitly before starting.

Can you polish the weld so it does not show?

Yes. Polishing is done in the same plant and is the usual step when the joint has to be hidden on a visible part.

Which file formats do you accept?

We accept PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP/STP, STL, IGS/IGES and also PNG or JPG images. If you do not have a final drawing yet, send us a dimensioned sketch and we will review it all the same.

Do you make one-off parts or only production runs?

We handle one-off parts and prototypes as well as small, medium and large batches and repeat production. You can specify this in the quote request.

How quickly do you reply to an enquiry?

We send a technical response in under 48 hours from receiving the drawing and the part details.

Can several processes be combined on the same part?

Yes — that is the normal way we work. A part can go through laser cutting, bending, welding and finishing inside the same plant, under a single order and a single point of contact.
